The Egyptian Museum of Turin

The Egyptian Museum of Turin is one of the most important in the world.

It keeps a large collection of artifacts dating back from 3500 b.C. until the VII century.

Only the Egyptian Museum of Cairo has a more important and complete collection.

Opened in 1824, it has always been the gem among the collections of the House of Savoy and the city.

Unique finds that, in the fantastic new exhibition opened in 2015, and renewed in 2024, provide an unforgettable experience, including the inviolate tomb of the architect KHA and his wife Merit, with all their funerary goods and furnishings, and the colossal 5-metre-high statue of Seti II.
